Welcome to William and Lucy L'Engle- Selected Works from the Estate. These pages are provided as an introduction to these extraordinary artists, whose interests, associations, and practices followed the historical developments of 20th century art. The L'Engle's involvement with seminal practices of modernism across forms, and their active association and participation within the arts in Europe, New York, and Provincetown, Massachusetts, situates their work in a unique time in American Art History.

A major retrospective of their work, and of their friends and colleagues William and Marguerite Zorach, illuminating their careers, is planned for August, 2011, at the Provincetown Art Association and Museum in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Selected works from the L'Engle estate will be available from this site as reproductions in the form of limited and open editioned archival pigment prints.
